San Diego Tacos

Upon arrival at San Diego Tacos, one notices the faint remains of a corporate fast food restaurant gone by the wayside. With it too any presumption that might accompany a national chain. Brian and I were pleasantly surprised at this, our first stop on the great american taco adventure to find "most tacos $1", and the rest under two. I enjoyed a traditional fish taco (deep fried), lengua (cow tongue), al pastor, asada beef, each with cilantro, onions, and SDT's special red sauce.

Except for the waitress agreeing with me when I asked if I had seen their shop on Food Network (it turns out the answer to each my questions incluye estos en espanol, was yes), this is pretty decent honest down home cooking.
